The walk up to Church of Saint Euphemia is pleasant (lots of gorgeous gift shops along the way) and the view out to the Adriatic Ocean is simply gorgeous. We went there right on sunset and just relaxed. It felt nice watching a sunset without...More

The church sits on top of the hill and has a tower that appears to be a copy of the tower in st marks square Venice. The church has been extended but is a active church and for a small sum you can pay to...More

The church is very beautiful and the view from up there is absolutely amazing. Just stay and enjoy the silence and the view.

While it was a lot of stone steps to climb from the harbor to the church, once there, the view was worth the climb. The church was open which was nice to see, but the view is the thing. From the patio surrounding the church...More

It takes 10-15 mins and some stairs from the main square to the church. You can have amazing view around Rovinj, small islands and the beautiful bay.

The Church was closed when we came but the way to it was full of interesting landmarks of life in Rovinj. The view from on top is worth the climb. It would have been great to visit the tomb of St. Euphemia but that's not...More

The church is situated on top of a hill. The inside is very nice, beautiful but not over-the-top. When visiting, I strongly suggest climbing the bell tower. We actually had trouble finding where to start the climb. We looked inside the church, walked the perimeter...More

Claim the to this church for stunning views of the old town, stepping inside you are welcomed by a cool pleasant church, not over the top with gilded decoration. If you have the energy climb the bell tower for better views.

St. Euphemia's sarcophigi is inside the chapel. She was martyered by the Roman Emporer Dioclician in around 300 AD. She was thrown to the lions. A painting depicting this is above the sarcophigi. Very interesting.
