This cathedral is a world heritage side, largely because of the fresco altarpiece. Many buildings to look at before you come to the church itself. The altarpiece is perfectly preserved, and richly adorned with gold mosaic. More impressive than charming.

Although I'm not that impressed with the Cathedral, once you climb up the hill the view is spectacular. I advise you go climbing after 5 pm, because the streets are pretty open so there's no cover from the sun.

A walk up to St Euphemia's is well worth it for the view. The cathedral contains some nice modern stained glass windows.
