Central square with cathedral Town Hall and court of justice. The Dukes Palce with a beautiful working clock is a good starting point. The adjacent town hall was renovated in the early part of the last century. Adjacent is the outdoor town court under a logia where local justice was administered. The cathedral is opposite with a mixture or Romanesque... More

The City Hall (Duke's Palace) has a beautiful architecture that fits perfectly with the setting around. The clock tower, from the former St. Sebastian Church, makes even more charming the main square (Trg Ivana Pavla II) where it is located, in the Old Town. This small building was the residence of the duke. It has interesting things, for example, it... More

Memorable for its large clock tower facade and stunning Gothic architecture, The City Hall - Duke's Palace sits proudly in the main square of the Old Town of Trogir. First built in the 15th century as a symbol of political and economic strength of the city, it was also a residence for the duke. Gothic architectural features include a staircase... More

I thought this clock was just beautiful, especially against the white background of the building. We were there on Sunday, and the city hall wasn't open, but we enjoyed viewing it from the square near the cathedral.

What a magnificent, ancient town square. Solid, beautiful with huge paving stones. A special place in a special old town.

According to the signage this was built on the site of the duke's palace but "thoroughly reconstructed in 1890 incorporating remnants from the Duke's palace." The exterior is fairly plane but the courtyard has some neat features and is worth a visit.

...primarily because there is not much more of interest. The best time to get a decent photo of it is afternoon when the bar parasols have been taken in.

Next to the church with the tower you have the palace and the clock tower. The palace is small and just the interior courtyard is open for visiting for free same for the clock tower.

This iconic clock changes her looks depending on the time of day. Sit in the central square and enjoy her 'changing of her clothes'.

The Rector's Palace is the Town Hall on the Central Square of Trogir. This 15th c building is a fine example of Croatian Renaissance. The pictures seem to add confusion with the Clock Tower, which is part of the City Ledge and not effectively the City Hall.
