Well preserved picture perfect castle in this charming town which is only an hour away from Zagreb I highly recommend doing a day trip to Varazdin you won’t be disappointed

Unfortunately, the castle had already closed on the afternoon we spent in Varazdin, so we were unable to have a look inside. The outside is stunning, however. We enjoyed wandering around the encircling green space snapping photos and taking in the lovely views.

An excellent stopping point when traveling on the roads of Croatia on the way to Hungary. Is a small village known for its castle and central square. An exquisite landscape! Castle very well kept, the interior has paid entrance!
