Enjoy the wonderful landscape by sitting on its shore. Breathtaking and relaxing spot. I never actually swum in the Lake but many people I know who did it who caught skin or lung diseases.

you can find a lot of places in Goma, DRC that offer food and views to this lake which is incredible and peaceful.

this lake with his islands, it is a beautyful gift from God. Ijwi is one of his island the second bigest island in africa, just behind Madagascar. Chegera also is another beutyful island you should visit during the tryp on the lake.

It's nice hotel in the victinity of Goma. Lodge have 24 rooms with all facilities. Old furnitures and decor but good. Equipped with swimming; garden; restaurant etc.. Sports activities at lodge is NIL. You will miss the same. Might be they are constructing the same....More

What a massive lake, it looks more like an ocean. Ferry and catamarans cross on regular basis, would highly recommend the catamaran .
