If you have kids and visit Guayaquil this is worth it! You get real close to the iguanas. There are plenty of police and guard presence so it is fairly safe spot. You are not safe from iguana and pigeon droppings however.

Small garden plaza with dozens of land iguanas. Worth a quick 15 -30 minute stop to check out the iguanas.

Fun for both kids and grownups. The iguanas ate out of the same food source without fighting. The birds hopped around the iguanas without either being aggressive. A pond with fish added to the attraction. Nice place to just sit and relax.

Very nice Park located right in front of Guayaquil's La Catedral Catholic Church. Very common to see "Iguanas" big lizards

This is always a fun place to go. Make sure to bring some lettuce or bananas to get extra close to some iguanas! You can make it last as long or short as you want.

I took my 18 months daughter to see the iguanas and she loved it! They are everywhere in the small park. Entrance is free. Not too many people so we did really enjoy it. The park is small but includes iguanas, pigeons, fish and turtles....More

This is a unique open city park with A LOT of iguanas!!! Definitely worth a quick stop for pictures! Be careful as it is slippery when wet on the pavement

Fun place to stop in Guayaquil. Lots of iguanas and a beautiful cathedral across the street. Just be careful walking under the trees, lots of birds equals lots of poop!

I'm not sure if iguanas can be over fed, but since they are vegetarian, if you bring treats, fruits and vegetables are best. The signs do ask that the public not feed them, so I am sure that the iguanas won't mind if you... More
