Enjoyed by locals and a Must See spot for tourists. Iguanas are everywhere and the males try to attract the females. Easy to photograph all antics. Pretty setting.

I was take by the cute iguanas. They had vivid colors and are people friendly. The only thing though is that breaks my heart to see how ppl chase these poor iguanas. Only bc they're ppl friendly, it doesn't mean you have to Harris them! Geez

A little gem in the middle of Guayaquil's financial district, Parque Seminario or Parque de las Iguanas, is a beautiful park filled with trees, plants, flowers, statues and of course: iguanas. The iguanas are very used to people, harmless and friendly. You can buy lettuce to feed them. You will also find a pond filled with turtles and fish and... More

We were told by our B&B that there is a park with iguanas in Guayaqil that might be worth to visit. We went there and from far away park seemed to be very small like 150x150 meters and surrounded by lots of people and traffic. We were in doubts if we could find at least 1 iguana there. But we... I didn't really want to go check this place out but my boyfriend dragged me there because he used to go there as a kid. I can't say it was really amazing but I'm definitely glad I went. There are iguanas everywhere! I've never seen anything like it. It's a couple of blocks away from the Malecon 2000 so I... More

Unlike the iguana found in the wild, which run from people, these iguana comfortably lounge in an open area with a low garden fence around them to mark the line over which people should not cross. The signs warn people to keep out of the iguana refuge, but there were children trying to get the iguana to take bananas from... More

The park is exactly as everyone describes. The park is rather small but I have to admit it's interesting and fun to see all the iguanas everywhere.

This is a beautiful park where you can actually hand feed large iguanas. The are everywhere in the park and are unafraid of humans. They will walk right up to you!

This is just a small plaza in the tacky city centre that has a bunch a iguanas runniing around. It´s a way to pass some time but not worth going out of your way to see.
