Nice walk, nice people, nice dining options, rough parking

Another nice waterfront development with a riverwalk clear to the Malecon. Lots of people, lots of dining options but be prepared to wait, cool breezes of the water, but tough to... read more

Emelec is one of the best teams in the Ecuador and has its own museum located in Guayaquil .It is one of the places where we can find some of the history of Emelec. I went with my family and saw all the cups that Emelec has won over the years, all the t-shirts that Emelec had used until today... More

This one of the newest areas in Guayaquil. It is very clean and safe for a nice stroll, to enjoy the views of the river, and the old town of the city. From here you can have a nice walk all the way to Malecon 2000, and other attractions in the city center.

Not really a 'destination' just a necessary evil having to submit to the brown, dirty river, noisy boats, soot and smog. NOT a place I'd take a boat since that would put my health at risk.

We nice part of the city to take a walk. A few nice restaurants and a local market where you can pick up some souvenirs.

Modern part of Guayaquil where new high rise builings are being made, try walking down the promenade next to the river, where you can appreciate the most amazing views of the Guayas River. Follow the path to las Peñas neighborhood where you will find the birthplace of Guayaquil, bars, jazz clubs, open air art exhibitions, amazing colonial architecture will wait... More
