The fortress is in the city centre surronded by many bazaars which sell local hand made crafts. Moreover, a local hotel and restaurant (Babelshal) which serve average local food. The fortress is poorly maintained and needs attention. Admission is free.

It's just a unique view, architecture, and feeling. I stood in the neighborhood for 5 days, and visiting the fortress while sunset, it's amazing

it is the old Siwa which was called (Shali). the fortress was built on ecolodge building system and at the top you can feel the magic of nature.
