An ancient amphitheater quite well preserved. We were there during the day and it was rather empty. No shows ;-) I have seen many larger and better located objects of this type, so this one did not impress me much.
Just below the fort this theatre offers some nice views across the lake and would have been spectacular in its day. Today it's a bit tired and needs some tlc. Some conservation work has obviously been undertaken but like most other places we have visited...More
It’s not amazing, and far from something which has to be seen, but it’s still nice to stand in the middle of the amphitheater and imagine what history has seen here.

Only go see if it's on your way to somewhere else. It's a Helenistic amphitheater that has been majorly rebuilt rather than restored. The stage could do with a bit of TLC, I have no idea how people don't break a leg on that floor...More
