Nice church built against the backdrop of the lake. It’s built upon old ruins of a basilica which are being preserved so has a historic touch. Be sure to see the old foundations and read up on the history while there.

very beautiful not far again from castle eben in side is beautiful you will not regret to spend your time to visit this church

costs a euro to see some fairly faded mosaics and small church. if you are passing have a look, it is close to the castle, but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit the site.

This is not the original church, it has been rebuilt, but it is good to see that history was kept alive.

This 5th century basilica was restored in 2002. We loved the way it still highlights the original walls and foundations still standing from the 5th century build with glass floor segments and clear separations in the walls. Free to enter. FYI - the guy 50m...More

this is a stunning site which I have visited in the past but it was closed to the public when I went early August 2017 as they are working on completing the excavations and renovations.....

I enjoyed visiting this church and especially enjoyed the soothing church music after a long tiring walk.It is worth visiting and it had some beautiful artworks inside.

The site around Plashnik is a complete mess as several large apartment complexes are being built (very sad they are so close to the church) but don't let this dissuade you from visiting. The church (100 dinar admission) has some spectacular remnants of old frescoes...More

The Sveti Kliment church is newly built and only 15 years old, not much to see from the inside. Archeologists are working on site. New buildings for the University of Ohrid, the oldest in Europe, are constructed at the same time. A guide on site...More
