We had a great experience with another couple. They booked the tour and wanted another couple along. After some posts on Facebook we accidentally ran into them during the Muster Drill on the boat. Juan Carlos was very accommodating as we had some mishaps starting out. We met Freddy the boat commander that took us to the private island where... More

Really enjoyed touring the Honduras with Juan Carlos! He was very friendly and gave us interesting facts about his country! Highly recommended! He picked us up at the cruise terminal and dropped us off with time to do some last minute shopping.

This guy was such a nice guy. He took my dad and I to a divers place (West Bay Divers, also awesome) to go on a snorkel tour. On the way back from the tour, he took us and another group to see a money zoo that was really cool. It was an added bonus to the transportation from the... More

Going on a cruise and Roatan is one of the ports of call. Tried contacting Carlos at Island tours three times with no response at all. He website claims it may take a couple of days for him to get back but not 2 weeks! Tried twice contacting with no success. Guess business is very good and doesn't have to... More

Loved it. Our driver Charlie was awesome. Never had to look for him, every excursion we went on he was waiting for us at the finish

We reserved a private guide from Islander Tours for a trip to Roatan, Honduras off the Norwegian Pearl Cruise Ship. Email communications with Juan Carlos helped our group of six decide what to do before we arrived. We were met outside the cruise terminal at Coxen Hole by our guide, Charlie. Charlie speaks excellent English and has a very enthusiastic... More

My wife & I had been to the island once before, and loved it so much, we had to go back. We happened across Islander tours. Corresponded through e-mails, quickly and efficiently, with Juan Carlos. We met Charlie, right where he was supposed to be, when he was supposed to be. We had pre-arranged our wants and desires, while we... More

We arrived by ship on the Carnival Magic in January 2016 to Roatan. We had a group of 6 with us, including a baby and someone with special needs. This has been our second visit to Roatan. Impressed with our first visit through Juan Carlos, we went through him again. Instead of walking up the hill outside the port down... More

I really enjoyed this tour!! Our guide Juan was awesome, he met us at our port then asked us what we wanted to see and we told him we wanted to learn about the culture and history of Honduras and he delivered that perfectly. He brought us to see some of the wildlife on the Island, the local markets, a... More

Juan Carlos Rodriguez Islander Tours - the best tour on our trip!!! We arranged with Juan Carlos via his website ahead of time. He met us as described, and quickly ushered us to his air-conditioned van. We waited about 10-15 minutes for another couple that was going with us to be dropped off. They never showed, so we had a...
