Serene and vast gardens!

A really one of a kind experience roaming around tea gardens surrounding these hills, not that crowded as I expected (visited Feb, 2017)!

All the valley in or near Munnar is spread with tea and it creates beautiful scene of valley with making good feelings.

I cannot put in to words the beauty of this whole area. You drive through mile after mile of the most manicured gardens. We had been travelling throughout India for several weeks before arriving in Munnar and had grown accustomed to the chaos of many cities. This area is so completely different, you could be in a beautiful alpine town... More

Greenary With tea estates,it's asset of Munnar.As we stayed in Mount misty resort,view of tea gardens is great.Being with nature is good for our city lifestyle.

Hire a guide and go for an early morning stroll through the hills. The endless rolling greenery is beautiful, especially first thing when the mist is still rising. You can get up close to pickers and see them at work. Bit of a climb but the views at the top were definitely worth it. Make sure you have a cuppa... More

I grow up watching only DD1. And there were several program showing Tea Gardens from all over the India. They look awesome in TV. I belong to Bihar so I had to travel to some tea estate to watch it. I decided to go to Munnar for the same as it was serving multiple purpose for me. And seeing those... More
