Mattupetty dam is a good place to be at. It was quiet and beautiful. The view of lake was mesmerizing and worth travelling.

Nice place to take children and go on a boat ride. A lot of locals visit this attraction as a day outing. Good to get a taxi and drive around for the views.

This was one of several stops we had on a rainy day in Munnar when we didn't feel like trekking on our own and took a tuktuk to show us the main highlights of munnar. This stop can easily be missed (just as the other stops the tour). It's super touristy and for no reason to me, I found my... More

It is bascially a drive over a water barrage which is water resorvior on way to echo point. The car will drop at start of bridge and wait for you at the end of the bridge, I dont know what is great about it.

Nothing much can be done here. View is nice though there is mesh on both side of road which blocks the view. It might be very good during winter season, was hot when i went there in Nov end.

We were lucky to see wild elephants during our speed boat ride. The boat ride was for Rs 600 per couple. The view at dam is scenic and we found a solitary place near the dam and spent an hour sitting and enjoying nature.
