You must go if you are in Amritsar. The ceremony is a friendly exchange between two countries that have been rivals since partition. You will feel the proud feeling of being Indian by the singing and shouts of the crowd.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Wagah border ceremony. There was a great atmosphere with music and dancing. The crowds are controlled by military personnel and runs smoothly. This is a must see for any visit to Amritsar.

Yes. Further they also have persons selling chops, water etc. They come to your seat and sell it. So no problem
