The Govt museum is inside the Kings palace within Lohagarh Fort and is likely to be closed for all of 2017 as renovation work is going on, visited it from outside. However may visit the Kishori Mahal which is the queen's palace which is nearby. Not much to see as entry to the second floor is not allowed as the... More

Went to the museum to find it closed for renovation. A separate section of the fort walls were also closed. Up one of the side roads we managed to reach a statue of the past maharajah outside an old building that also housed some small exhibition but was mostly closed (perhaps because it was Sunday?). The renovations to the main... More

Car Parking Fee- Rs.20/ Entry Fee- Rs.20/person There is not much to check out in the museum; it is too small. Weapons and armors kept are still okay but talking about those vegetables (I am not kidding, they have kept some handmade or something similar kind of vegetables) and preserved dead animals (upper part of a lion, a crocodile, cobra... I m not impress with collection but I m impress with building and the restoration work Rajasthan govt has done. Lot of things and old structures related to Jat rulers family . Must go place in Bharatpur. Inside Lohagard fort. You need to take local guide to reach there . Good place

This museum is a part of Lohagarh fort and is converted from the Royal court of that time. This have a huge inventory of Guns and war materials used at the royal time. One can spend 1 hour here.

It is located in the heart of Loharghar Fort and is open from 9 am to 5 pm. I forgot the entry fee amount but you need to buy one to enter the main museum. This Palace was also known as Kacheiri Kalan and used to serve as administrative office to the Jat Rulers.
