Beautiful Lake covered with dense forest. You need to take permission from forest department to reach there. Peaceful place.

This lake is situated in the center of a restricted wildlife sanctuary. One has to fight hard and get entry permission and then drive 15 km to get on to this lake. This lake may provide a better view just after rainy season. Otherwise, it is just a cool place one can visit if one likes or likes to know... More

I visited this in the month December 2016. The place is excellent and calm. Need to get forest permission to go this place. Only concern in this place is there is no rest room for ladies. Please plan accordingly if you are going with family.

Not many options for sight scene so try to visit . Only 25 Pvt vehicle and 50 local tourist vehicle get permission @ Rs 200 per car. So take it in advance or reach at 8am at location. Lake is good.forest road is good. Natural beauty is good.

Most people who visit Kodaikanal tend to restrict their visits to local attractions. This is a little farther away from the city center but nonetheless a beautiful attraction and quite the place to spend an evening in. With a lovely backdrop of lush mountains, this place has a meadow surrounding the lake. Photo enthusiasts would have a treat for their... More

went to the moir point at 8:30 am to get into the queue as only 25 vehicles per day are given permission to enter the reserved area.though the drive to the lake was pleasant, the lake was a big disappointment.the silent valley views Enroute were good..if you have limited time try to avoid this lake.
