Nice temple architecture. The third Prakaram or corridor of the temple is the magnificent one. Wonderful architecture. Also there are 22 holy Theertham in the temple.

The temple is beautiful and so is the experience. The only thing is that going there is not elderly friendly. I had my parents with me and it was not easy for them to walk around. We didn't feel like taking a bath in the sea as it was very dirty there. So we just washed our hands and moved... More

Nothing beautiful in india then this temple.. Blessings of Lord shiva in form of a small beautiful Shiva linga .. For taking dip in sea u don't need any guide but for bathing in 22 wells u Compulsory need a guide who helps u find wells in temple n pour water on u ..he charges Rs.5 per well per person..

Recently visited rameshwaram temple with my family. It is very nice and big temple. There are so many temples in rameshwaram and places to see. What i liked most about this temple is their way of darshan, which i never saw in North India. Crowd management was quite good. You can have holy bath at the ram kund also. Overall... More

The temple is beautiful but could have been maintained better and the surroundings too. The waterfront was dirty with rags and tatters and garbage along the shoreline. considering it is such an important pilgrimage centre for Hindus, the Government needs to give more attention and maintain cleanliness
