A clean beach this. Had a wonderful time, the water was clean and at the right temperature. The currents were pretty strong, so be careful while swimming. Hope they keep this beach clean for a long time to come.

One of the best drive experiences you get as you approach the tip with sea on both side and a narrow strip of road in between. The beach is clean and you can spend good amount of time here. Kids have space to run around

This is a place that must not be missed while visiting Rameswaram. It is about 18km from the main city, connected through a wonderful 2-lane metalled road having excellent view.

Nice beach and a beautiful view of the sun, sand and sea. Sadly some parts of the beach are littered with discarded items but other than that a very nice place to visit. However, I believe it might not be the same once more people...More

I absolutely loved Dhanushkodi beach. It's really far and doesnt offer too much (say, like a Goa), so less people venture there and also perhaps people from outside the TN state, but as beaches go, it is absolutely stunning. You are on a narrow strip...More

We went to Danushkodi by Jeep. The Indian Ocean joins the Bay of Bengal here. The Indian ocean was rough and tides high. But the Bay of Bengal was quiet and deep. It was beautiful experience having a dip there. The way from Rameshwaram to...More

Dhanushkodi Beach is one of the best beaches in Rameswaram offering long pristine beaches with clear water & very less visited. Swimming is strictly prohibited by Order as the waves are too high there most of the time.

Many fail to see it as a coastal town which was ruined by the natural forces. The place is lonely and we get to see them within an hour glass of half an hour. Taken to and taken back by the maxicab... Relished the wonderful...More

The new road will take you to Dhanushkodi point. Going to Ram Setu bridge is not allowed. Best seen from Statellite images. Dhanushkodi beach is simply beautiful. One can spend hours looking at the blue Indian Ocean.
