A (simple) boat tour in the afternoon (4-6pm) to visit 3 temple complexes next to the river. Nice to see town from an other perspective.

Saturday 4th March and we went on a tour from Bangkok to Ayutthaya, which is about 80 kilometers north of Bangkok, a 2 hour drive by mini bus First stop on the tour was a visit to the Summer Palace followed by the Temple of the Dressed Buddha, then Wat Mahathat - ruins with the Buddha's head in the tree... Our tour with Grand Pearl Cruise from Bangkok to Ayutthaya was superb. 7am they picked us up in nice van and took us to River City Center to board a larger coach. For the 2 hour drive to Ayutthaya the brilliant guide Khun Andy explained Thai history and development with style and amusement. First stop was the Summer Palace, which... More

We booked this for our first day in Bangkok to get over the jet lag. It was a perfect experience. Until we visited, we didn't realize how big Ayutthaya is. It can be done on your own by bike, but having someone show you the way helped a lot. I would not have wanted to try and find my way... More

Went on the Aytthaya Boat & travel tour as we didn't want to go back by road. The tour guid was full of information and was a great host. As most of the reviews have said you don't get enough time in Aytthaya which is true! A mini bus picked us up at the hotel at 6:30, and we drove... More

They picked us up at 6:30 AM and given Bangkok traffic it took us an hour to get to the central bus. Then we got on a very old coach read decorated in the psychedelic party fashion. We rode an hour and a half to the first stop. Which was the Palace of the king you need to take your... More

My girlfriend and I did the "Rail, road, and river" tour based on all the positive reviews here. Although we enjoyed visiting ayutthaya (a must see!) the tour was definitely overpriced for the level and quality of service we received (2050thb per person): the only "refreshments" they provided was water, the lunch was nothing more than stir fried rice, the... We are very sorry that you were not entirely satisfied with your Road, Rail and River tour; we always try to give our customers enjoyable and rewarding experiences. In this case the tour is designed to give an authentic local experience which is why we use local transport and provide a very local lunch. Using private transport and eating in... More

At Ayutthaya (the world heritage city by UNESCO), it's a highlight to take a boat tour along the river surrounding the city area. The town of Ayutthaya is like a city island. It's surrounded by three rivers; Pa Sak river (east side), Chao Phraya river (west and south side) and Lopburi river (north side). Since it's old city and not... More

My husband and I absolutely loved the dinner cruise! For only 2,000 baht we had an amazing dinner and we happened to be the only people on the cruise that evening. We arranged for Ayutthaya Boat and Travel to pick us up and drive us back and this was extremely helpful. We highly recommend this experience! Wonderful way to see... More

Apologies for stating the obvious....as u are well aware, travelling is all about places and people, together with your good karma (well, this is actually the right place for that) could blend magnificently for a unique experience. Could be beneficial say that I don t believe so much in organised tours. 99% of the time is all about squeezing tourists... More
