Very nice, but too many rocks in the sea and too steep to enjoy with little kids. If you travel with very little kids like we do, I would recommend. Phra ae or Klong dao. However you can have a very nice stay here, especially during high tide.

Head to Flintstoned Bar after your greek sunset dinner next door and you'll see that its best to enjoy this beach without swimming in it. Great to walk down the beach and catch some fire twirling action.

For those looking for beach party. Plenty of beach bar, music and fire show. Lots of accommodation to choose from low-mid range to high end. Cannot swim during low tide.

This is a litle hidden gem its on the main street, next to mums kitchen and 3 sisters - it only has 5 tables and the owner/chef/waiter will cook you anything you ask for, if you like a particular fish tell him what fish you like in the day and he will prepare this for you in the evening. Food... More

We ate at most restraunts on Khlong Khong which were all lovely barring Moonwalk and stopped off in all bars at least once which play some good reggae music a real chilled out atmosphere. Fire shows are some of the better ones I've seen around Thailand. The sea is great for a swim during the day at high tide but... More

No be best beach in the world if your training to be an Olympic swimmer as there are large rocks beneath the surface. But the water is perfect for cooling off between tanning sessions on the long sandy beach. Be sensible when entering the ocean so rather than wading through waiting to hit a rock with your toe swim on... More

Long and rocky beach in a good location. Good reggae bars with live music at night. Fire shows at night too. Two great restaurants along the shore: Holy Cow and Kwan's Cookery. If you want a more castaway kind of beach head to the south of Koh Lanta.

This beach is absolutely lovely at high tide. It has a great feel to itself, and most importantly, it has areas on its northern and southern ends that are completely empty and thus amazingly peaceful. It also has plenty of shade, and lots of wild greenery, much more than the neighboring Klong Nin. However, it does become impossible to swim... More
