Had a pleasant morning here wandering round the single road of shops and walking along the pier. There's a temple which is worth a visit though it is modern but the highlight of the visit was a street vendor selling fresh coconut and pineapple juices...More

Came on a Sunday morning so lots of places closed. Nice to wander around. They were setting up a market where we saw some ugly "butcher shops".

We drove over to old town with a scooter and parked at the beginning of the street. The houses are really cute and people nice. We went there during low season so no tourists at all. Walk a little further and there we'll be a...More

We stayed at the coconut house in Old Town Koh Lanta for a short stay during our honeymoon and it was the best part of our trip! The town is incredibly charming, authentic and quaint. We rented a long tail boat from a local to...More

Great place to wander around for a morning. Some very nice restaurants reasonably priced that had piers going off into waters. You might want to wait to see if your tour to the islands starts from here and maybe take a look at the end...More

A small town with seafood restaurants, souvenirs shops along the road. About half an hour from the Saladan town by bike. I notice the price is little bit cheaper than Saladan town. Nothing much to expect, just enjoy the time there..

The old town in prague is fabulous with old architecture and is so much quieter than Patong and is a great location to be to explore all of Phuket instead of just Patong. Highly recommended indeed.

I wouldn't have stayed there (smelly, not near beach, gives a new meaning to the word 'Villa' ) but certainly enjoyed an hours walk around

Hello, I was just in Lanta Old Town and purchased a beautiful piece of clothing from a small shop next to a small cafe. I am trying to remember the name of the place so I can possibly get in touch with the owner to make another purchase. The cafe is run by a very nice French man. The shop sells clothing made from traditional northern Thai fabrics (very pretty plaids). Can anyone help? Thanks in advance!
