From a longtail boat is is idyllic. The sunset is brilliant. The water is amazing....BUT don't even think to spend your money to get on the beach ....100's of visitors, you could even not see the beach...only people.

White sand that’s soft under foot and lovely clear waters. Bars, restaurants and activities plentiful. Worth a day visit

By the day, Loh da Lum is just a dirty beach, but by the night it is full of fun clubs playing all kinds of music. I do not recommend staying there because of the noise, even though the bars shut at 3 am.

This is an amazing beach where you can walk out at leash half a mile in knee deep water. Gorgeous views, and tons of kayak rentals (even paddleboards). It is kid friendly and close to several restaurants.

The bay on the other side of the Ao Tonsai pier. We visited this side when we were walking around the phi phi island streets visiting the gift shops.

This is the main beach on Phi Phi that most people will experience. I saw some trash, and it was narrow at high tide but it was still a pretty amazing beach. Plenty of sun, great sand... kayak and other rentals available, not a ton...More

This is the first beach we visited in Phi Phi on the day we have arrived and also on our last day. We liked that it wasn`t very populated. The water is not so great, but the view of the gulf overcomes that.

I'm not 100% percent sure but I think we were quote a price of about 4000 Bhat. I know some of my friends paid about $200(US) for a motorboat for the day.
