Very beautiful but too crowded

The place is simply awesome but there are too many tourists. It is difficult to find a spot without them to take a decent picture.

Great place with scenic beauty as well as best for snorkeling and water-play. Best to go early as many tourists visit it regularly.

Stunning scenery-and beautiful water but gets very very busy with boats arriving every few minutes and depositing 20-50 people a go. Come early low tide allowing. If low tide negotiate hard to use a kayak or long tail boat to take you to the beach early morning we'll work the extra as gets so congested it isn't fun.

Try and go early as it gets very busy later in the day. You can get a long boat from phi phi and add monkey beach to it etc. They will take you where you want and even stop off for snorkeling if you fancy it.

Did not set foot on the Beach to over crowded and over rated. The views are great and the water is so warm. Be warned it now costs 400Bht to set foot on the beach; swimming is free from the boat.

The most terrible experience I've had in this trip. There is no room to stand a towel, to walk or to breath fresh air. Long rail boats, speedboats, all kind of boats "anchored" to the beach!!! Something I've never ever seen before! There is no room to swim or to actually enjoy the beach while people smoke, drink , eat... More

Visited this location for the reason similar to many others - a certain dicaprio film! We visited by long tail boat and arrived at around 9am. The beach was absolutely rammed!! We spent about 20 minutes here (took a few photos, got in the sea and attempted a swim with around 500000000 people this is not an easy task) for... More

Either my expectations are too high or this place is overated. If you want to see "a beach "that is over crowded then go. Do t get me wrong it's stunning. We got a tour boat to take us but we paid 400baht for tour of islands (recomended) but 400bajt to view island as its a national park. Go see... More
