Too crowded

The Ton Sai pier at Phi Phi Don is crowded and noisy. Just a place to come and go when arriving and leaving the island.

Lovely place just a short walk across from Railay Beach, one one resort there and the backdrop of limestone rocks are just breathtaking.

We had our perfect hotel in Tonsai area... 1st contact was here after disembarking of the boat. Early morning it s peaceful and boats are not moving too much ... so enjoy this area at that time and then on the afternoon take a longtail boat private to visit an island ... life is here so you will have people,... This is a beautiful bay, especially the West end with the cliffs. It's more of a harbour though so I'm not sure you'd want to hang out here all day.

Picturesque bay, but the hub of transport, essentially a boat parking lot for the longboat taxis and tour boats. We took a longboat to Maya Bay on a whim for sunset, super fun

You have to take a long tail to get there, but its worth it. Railey Beach is walking distance away, but far too crowded for my taste. Ton Sai is far more quiet, and the bar on the beach is a fun and relaxing spot to hang out and look at the scenery and watch the rock climbers.

Visited this bay while touring a few of the bays in phi phi, The main hub of phi phi I think as there was some bigger boats coming in here from Phuket & krabbi, had a meal here as part of the trip & a little downtime before our next journey, beach is quite small & because of the many... More

Because this is the place the ferries dock and the long tail boats too, its always busy. If you are a people watcher, this is a perfect place to see people from all nationalities as they arrive and leave Phi Phi Don.
