We are a PADI 5 star IDC dive center who is focused on giving you the best time on Koh Tao whether out or underwater. Our brand new dive shack is located directly on the beach towards north sairee which is probably the nicest are around there. With our personal setup, small groups. early morning dives to avoid the crowds and the relaxed, fun and save way we dealing with our customers we make the difference here on Koh Tao. Diving with a dive shop that makes you feel like family! I truly did! What an amazing experience diving 3 days (6 dives) with this awesome dive shop. Great equipment and dive boat but the best thing about Scuba Shack is their wonderful, friendly, helpful, passionate dive instructors! They are so willing to go above and beyond for everyone to make their diving experiences unforgettable. I would 100% recommend Scuba Shack for dive courses or fun dives. I will definitely be back! You won't regret going with Scuba Shack!

Having only dived once before (and not having a great experience) I was a little apprehensive about diving with my friends, who had been diving for years. Gaspar took myself and another unexperienced friend of mine on a Tri Dive and made us feel so at ease and built our confidence. He taught us all the skills we needed with so much patience and positivity and then took us out on a second dive in the afternoon.
Having such a great first experience with Scuba Shack I decided to return a month later to complete my Open Water with the team and was lucky enough to be with Gaspar again. He made me feel so comfortable in the water and has built my confidence immensely. After completing my Open Water I then did a fun dive with Titou the next day, who once again was such a fantastic instructor. A big thank you to both Gaspar and Titou who are not only amazing dive teachers and so knowledgeable, but were also very patient with me when I was struggle to equalize.
The whole team were so welcoming and encouraging, particularly Stefan and it was lovely to meet such easy going people. We will definitely be back!!!

We arrived in Koh Tao at the beginning of a big storm, we were there to dive and Scuba Shack has their boat on the sheltered side of Koh Tao. We had three days of diving with Scuba Shack and it got better and better each dive as the visibility improved after the weather. Their boat, the crew and the gear were great. It all just worked smoothly. The boss Stefan even picked us up from our place and dropped us off. Brilliant value and all done it was an epic week. Thanks Stefan and the Scuba Shack crew.

This was my third time diving with Scuba Shack. I can fully recommend this dive school - both for beginners and experienced! The material is impeccable, the handling uncomplicated and the dive masters all very sympathetic and with a lot of patience. Also, the Bugalows, which can be booked at Sucba Shack directly on the beach, are highly recommended - inexpensive and well equipped! Many thanks to the entire team, we will be happy to come back!

From the get go we had great customer service and were welcomed warmly. Stefan answered all our questions in advance and arranged for us to be picked up from our ferry which was most welcome.
We did our PADI Open Water course with one other person in our group. Our instructor Gasper was patient, informative and made us laugh a lot. We loved it so much all three of us went on to do our PADI advanced ow course straight after! Scuba Max taught us all the elements and we were amazed by shipwreck, night dive and deep dive.
Scuba Shack was the start of our scuba diving adventure. We created amazing memories, awesome experiences and met some of the most lovely people of our trip. I’ll never forget the first time I looked up and was surrounded by thousands of fish.
I’d 100% recommend to anyone looking to scuba dive on the island. Embrace it!

Amazing dive shop and staff! The instructors are very experienced, professional, friendly and helpful. I signed up for my Open Water Course and on the second day was having a lot of anxiety and issues with my ears. My instructor Titou was really great and understanding when I wanted to end the dive. I took 2 days off from diving and then came back to the shop to continue. They welcomed me with open arms and were really supportive in helping me overcome my anxiety and get back in the water. I am SO glad I went back and finished the course. I’m very proud to be a certified PADI diver and highly recommend this experience and education for everyone.

I did my first fun dives after open water with scuba shack (although i’m certified with ssi, i was too tempted to try them after seeing the reviews) and they really helped me become more confident and practice more.
They are very fun, relaxed and disciplined at the same time and everything was amazing, nice dive sites. I fully recommend both Titoo and Gaspar with who i dived, but it looked like any of the staff would be a great choice.

We first met Stefan and the Scuba Shack team in August 2020 when we visited Koh Tao for the first time. Since then, we have returned to do our Advanced Open Water PADI with Scuba Shack and more fun dives.
We love that Scuba Shack is so easy with everything. Stefan is always just one phone call away, keeps records of the equipment we use and gets everything ready before we arrive. We love the attention to detail and the feeling that we are not just diving with fantastic instructors (Gaspar, Daria, Leo), but that we are coming back to dive with friends and family.
Always a fun moment to be had, very professional instructors who build the little confidence some of us have when it comes to diving... plus the beautiful diving sites around Koh Tao...

I did my Open Water with the instructor Gasper. It was such a fun experience to learn diving with him. Gaspar is very informative and professional. He pays attention to every detail, he took care of the gears carefully and also made sure I was doing every step correctly. I felt really safe learning with him. He also has such a cheerful personality, made my learning experience enjoyable.
The owner Stephan gave me very fair price.

I participated in the Open Water Dive Course at Scuba Shack and it was an amazing experience. It is very well organized and the guides know a lot and they prepare you perfectly for the exam you have to pass for achieving the Certificate in the end. The whole team is very kind and it is a great atmosphere in general. You get free water, free tea and coffee for the theoretical lessons and the guides explain it easily so everybody can understand what they’re supposed to do. The whole team is very patient so you don’t rush through the course.
I really enjoyed the four days at Scuba Shack and I would recommend this location to everyone that wants to learn Scuba Diving from the get go.

Can you sell me a mask with my eye prescription lense? How long would it take to get in and about how much would it cost?

Hi there, yes there are prescription mask available for a few brands with usualy -1 up to -7. The masks is around 1.500,- to 2.000,-Baht and the price per lense is around 500,-Baht as you by them seperate. if the retailer here on Koh Tao have it in stock, you can straight get/buy it. Best regards
