It seems to be a market just for tourists, but interesting none the less. The tour we booked was reletively expensive for Thailand and it DID NOT include the boat ride in the market (it included a short boat ride to the market, which was...More

We did enjoy the unique boat ride to the floating market. This type of markets has been slowly disappeared in Thailand so we had to go so far from Bangkok to here. We didn't buy anything there because there is nothing there we can't get...More

Came with a local friend on Friday 26th Dec afternoon. It was quiet and rather "peaceful" away from all other tourists. More of a market place for locals. You should try out its popular fruits, duck noodles, deserts etc. There is no entrance fees like...More

The market isn't very big and is generally on dry land next to the canal. There are some boats tied up at the canal edge cooking food or selling various tat from but its really not worth the trip out here. I did a tour...More

This tour starts with a bus ride then transfer to a longboat for a trip along the klongs, past temples and waterfront homes, and then to the floating market. It's a busy place, with many stalls along the waterfront as well as vendors selling mainly...More

I recently went to the Floating Market about 1 1/2 hours outside of Bangkok and was highly disappointed. The visit provided no cultural significance or history. This market is the exact same thing you would see at the Night Market (Patpong) in BKK with street...More

This is a great and colourful market, with some wonderfully cheap finds. Make sure you hire a boat for not more than 100 (a hundred) Bahts (they will ask you for 3000...) and get a "guided" tour of the market. While the market IS a...More

The market start from 10 am until 12 am. A tour bus will come around that period. So it's quite cloudy. Walk to a site of exchange. There're also a pier for small boat. We're paid around 600/trip
