A current day working Madrasah with students studying both the Koran and other subjects. Impressive architecture, stunningly colourful. Situated on a square opposite a mosque, close to the ancient Kalon Minaret and the trading Domes souvenir area. A must see.

This madrasah is one of the must see sights in Bukhara. The design, craftmanship and architectural splendor are impressive and well worth a visit. The tile and brick work is amazing.

Fantastic islamic and oriental architecture. Working religious site with tons of character. Together with the Kalon minaret and the mosque opposite, the ensemble rivals the Registan in Samarkand for sheer iconic beauty.
