Famous with its names but noting really significant inside. When we were there in October 2017, it's closed for renovation, we could only take pictures from outside.

The gateway and entrance are beautiful and there is a small caligraphy museum inside. There are also many craft stalls but like the rest of this wonderful country nobody is too pushy and it is not hard to say no. However the cushion covers were...More

One of the more interesting places to visit in town. The walls are all highly intricate. This is a favorite place to come for sunset and "blue hour" photography.

Come admire the splendor of this building. It is lower than other buildings surrounding it because it was built centuries before them. Ulughbek, being academically minded inscribed a controversial motto, that both men and women merited education. Unfortunately for women, it was just words.
