Enjoyed seeing so many animals, including white rhinos and so many flamingos! So neat to see the city in the background, but be surrounded by so much wildlife: baby baboons, cape buffalo, impala, zebras and so much more.

Beautiful Park with loads of wildlife easy to view. Roads were not as rough as many we traveled. Rhinos were seen every day!

Flamingos were very far away and the water stinks! Animals in the surrounding area made up for this. Close to Sara a resort

We went on a 2 hour safari and we saw a lot of animals; zebras, gazelles, buffalos, hogs, giraffes and even 5 rhinos!! It is different than the big parks - here it seems the animals are lined up. Good for kids.. not so much...More

The park is comparitively small so getting around is easy. There are excellent opportunities to view a wide range of wildlife including both white and black rhinos. The water is a haven for birdlife and despite there being just a few flamingos, there are lots...More

Primarily visited to see flamingo but we found that they no longer return here and have moved to Lake Bogaria which we were told was too far away for a day visit from Nakuru. Nevertheless, we saw lots of animals including lion, hyena, and jackal....More

The Lake Nakuru National Park is one of my favourite national parks in Kenya. Due to its small size, it is incredibly easy to not only get around, but to see wild game, especially the rhinos. The park is home to a huge population of...More

I was shocked to find the shores of Lake Nakuru to be devoid of flamingos and full of garbage. Really disgusting. There appears to be no attempt to clean it up. Also, to find abandoned building by the lake shore with baboons tossing files out...More

If you are looking for Flamingos I suggest you skip Lake Nakuru and instead visit Lake Bogoria. Rothschild Giraffe, Black and White Rhinos, Lions, Leopard and other plains game are easily spotted at Lake Nakuru.

Best place to see lake is from Baboon Cliff viewpoint and clearly signed. No boating though on this lake!
