The reason to go here was for the hippo's and crododiles. But i prefer to see them for example in Ziwani. A much more nice environment and experience.

We had a wonderful visit to Mzima Springs, only a 15 km drive from Kilaguni Lodge. Although only one road was passable for our Rav 4, the others might need higher clearance vehicles. The boardwalk down to the springs allowed easy access. Many monkeys were...More

Early morning trip to see Hippos in this wonderful environment. Very easy walk- our daughter was on crutches-and great experience as guided by a very friendly ranger. Plenty of other wildlife like crocodiles, elephant, monkeys.

Walk through the wild and watch mzimasprings flow. It has a great underwater hideout, if lucky enough you get really close to hippos or crocs swimming by or hunting fish

A beautiful setting for a lovely 20 minute walk around the springs, watching the hippos play. Missed the crocs but still well worth the visit.

A great stopover on a drive through Tsavo West National Park. A stunning oasis. Plan to be there with your picnic lunch.

Enjoyed our ranger-guided walk here. Saw hippo and crocodile. Fish visible in under water lookout. Tsavo really needs this.. didn’t see much else due to thick vegetation.

Small place, but worth the trip. The water that collects in the lake is amazingly clear. There were quite a few hippos, a crocodile, lots of monkeys, and a monitor lizard chilling in a tree! The springs has an underwater observation pod where we saw...More
