Serene location with a lot to offer for nature buffs and twitchers. Bush walks are really great and not difficult. Really peaceful place to visit Only downside is that the rubbish bins are not being emptied so people are trying doing the right thing by leaving their rubbish there but it’s not being picked up. Why leave more rubbish if you can see it’s not being collected, though? Recommend it for a good walk - you should plan 2 hrs. Bush walk isn’t great for very young children Bring water; bring back the container.…

Visit here every time coming to PD. Beautiful forest on a hill jutting out into the sea. Only RM1 entrance fee at the gate hear to Ilham Hotel. About 800m up the road to the lighthouse - then two options - climb steps to the right 100m before the lighthouse for the trail to Batu Buteh ( nice rocks with a view towards PD town - or continue past the lighthouse and follow the trail down to Pulau Intan on the southern tip of cape Rachado where there is a small beach and nice views. From Batuh Puteh you can climb down to the right to Monkey Bay and then back up to the access road near the entrance.…

Best place to see sunrise and sunset. U can either watch the sunrise from the Lighthouse or go down to the beach. Very calming and the view is breathtaking
