W stayed at Panuba Inn in 2010, Since the demise of the former owner, the place has gone downhill and so has the beach. Which is a pity, because it has potential.

As the only accomodation option here is the derelict Panuba inn, staying here is not a good choice. Stay at ABC instead.

Water not as clear but otherwise a chill place. Only stayed by this beach for a day. Too many rocks during low tide... There are better beaches in Tioman.

Everything that i have seen there could only be found in movies. It was a fantastic experience to touch and feel them

It is a beautiful beach. A lot of nice places along is! White pure sand, 29-30 Celsius degrees water. The only thing you have to look out for is the sandflyes.

The best beach i have been on on Tioman(lived there for half a year)

Place - private hotel with their own beach & jetty.
Beach - have 2 side. 1 side is a beach that can just walked down from their retaurant & another side you can jump directly from the jetty.
Jetty - only accessible with small or private boat. however, the hotel boat will pickup from the nearer jetty that can be enter with transit ferry
Sea - lots of sea urchin, so advisable to use fins upon snorkelling by the beach
Food - as the hotel is stand alone at the location, the food is very2 bad
Tioman Dive Centre - the instructor very friendly & they offer discovery dive for a first timer or whoever wanna know how to feel a dive

What a fabulous experience! I will not forget this in a while. We had a tough time getting here with the impossible roads and a bad bike. The roads literally rise interminably at 60 degree angles and are made of concrete, making it brittle and slippery. The bikes are the auto-transmission gearbox bikes, making it near impossible to change gears on the slope. We had a nasty fall on our way and I had a burn and my wife a swollen knee. We didn't let that slow us down though. Once we reached the beach we searched for a place that sells beer (very rare!!) and sat down to laze by the beach. Soon it became dark and overcast and the wind started picking up. We packed up our stuff and dropped them in the shack and walked for an hour in the pouring rain, getting soaked to our bones, shivering slightly in the chill, drinking our beer, and having the time of our lives holding hands and laughing away, the only ones on the beach with everyone else looking at us from the safe confines of their shacks as if we were crazy. It is memories like these that bring love back, and a smile too.
