Thanks God we choose this ferry ⛴ to go to Tioman island from Mersing , this is a definitely a much better and comfortable ferry ⛴. On time , punctual , comfortable and clean .. I bought this ferry ticket online through its direct website , price will fluctuate according to dates , so please buy early for cheaper price .. print your booking ticket online and that’s the boarding pass to board the ferry

No ATM at the ferry terminal - only one 10 min drive away. Hubby had to rush to get cash as we learned there was no ATM at Genting on the Island either; so get CASH before you get there to make your trip run smoother as no one seemed to take credit cards. You need to pay a conservation fee of 30RM each person - also cash only. Our trip to the Island was rough due to weather and the stops were not well marked (only by voice announcements which were hard to understand - we were worried we would miss our stop) but on the return trip it was much smoother sailing and the stops were displayed on the TV screens which was much nicer. It's like an airplane with the way they allocate seating and overhead bin areas.

Took Cataferry as there were many good reviews on it despite being more costly than Bluewater. Not exactly on schedule, ferries arrival were around + 30mins, still acceptable for me. Seats are spacious and the staff manning the entrance are helpful especially with the heavy luggage. Cool, clean cabin and toilets. Thankfully, no motion sickness despite the rough waves. Tips: Proceed to the Harbour Centre first upon arrival which is across the Mersing Jetty to print out the boarding pass and pay for the Marine Park fee.
