About
KK.Beach is the southwestern side of Perhentian Besar. There are several beautiful coral gardens in front of here, so you can enjoy snorkeling here all day. The useful information for here is being able to get here without boat. The way to here is simple. You can get here with walking along the beach from Big Beach (in front of Tuna Bay) to south.

Scenic rocky beaches, but slightly too over-touristed to be fully enjoyed. There were many tourist boats and the water sometimes smell of fuels. The coral garden covers a reasonably large area, although the fish variety seems subpar compared to what we saw on the Pulau Rawa daytrip. Overall, it is an essential visit if you are in the Perhentian islands but remember to check out the other attractions too!

It will be best to visit Teluk Keke during the high tide. The corals here are pretty and there are lots to see, but beware of the sea urchins! One thing that needs to be improved is to provide public bins for people to throw their trash. There's just so much trash in this hidden spot away from the beach, with no proper bins to collect them. It is such a shame to see all those trash because Teluk Keke is beautiful, and it should remain so for future visitors to this paradise.

Teluk Keke was supposed to be the more isolated beach, but there was an event going on during my visit, and the northern part of the beach was filled with people and boats. This part of the beach had camping grounds and shade from large trees as well. Avoiding the crowd, I walked to the south of the bay, beyond the boulders outcrop, where surprisingly not many people was there. The surface of those boulders was quite smooth, they must have withstand quite a lot of weathering. The beach to the south was narrower with thick vegetation inland, and was quite a quiet place with enough private beach space for everybody there. This was a beautiful isolated beach with green vegetation, fine sand and clear water.

Saw it from the sea only. Went there twice for snorkelling and have to admit this spot is amazing indeed! Saw a turtle and a very rare red anemone. It is full of small fish that form a circles around you while swimming.

It was a stop between our snorkelling trip in the afternoon... And simply love it.
White soft sand , crystal blue water , sunny day ... A slice of paradise!
Don't miss to visit this place when you're staying in Perhentian island.

Walked along the beach from New Cocohut to Teluk Keke and we had the beach almost to ourselves (you must walk past the campsite to get there). There were plenty of corals and fishes to see but sadly we also saw some plastics and beer cans on the sea bed.

I went there twice, via jungle route from the Flora Bay since paying RM30 for water taxis is a bit too much for solo traveller like me. The water is clearer, more calm and shallow which is perfect for beginners. If you happen to stay in Tuna Bay, just walk towards this point - a great convenience for those who come without any snorkelling package. The camping site however needs more awareness for visitors to keep this place clean. Would recommend this site for your 1st snorkelling experience in Perhentian.

Great location for snorkeling - lots of stuff to see very close to the shore. While this is a stop on the snorkeling tours, came here again - potentially the best place on Besar for snorkeling.
