Freedive AndRasa providing survival skill swimming, freediving from beginner to advance, freediving training sessions, private coaching, and some fundives to the coral bays and wrecks! :)

my first encounter of free diving. I took up the W1 course, I didn’t pass due to the equalization issue. our instructor howie is very encouraging, made the whole experience very fun. the course is not about passing the exam, u learn something at your own pace and having fun at the same time. you can keep learning with the malchanovs system after the course, so your free diving experience not ending after u leaving the island 😊

网络课程很详细，教练很nice，海水漂亮，拿到wave1很开心。教室在半山腰，风景很美。Howie教练也说中文，说中文，中文。虽然也能听懂英文，但是能用中文交流是很好的体验。equipment都挺新的，体验感好。

Came here on a solo trip with the intention of conquering my fear of deep water and it has been such a fruitful learning trip. Learned so much about listening & respecting my body :)
Cal was extremely patient, gentle and understanding. He was also knowledgable when it comes to guiding his students, both in theory and practical. You can fully trust that you’ll feel safe and secure with him around.
Class was conducted in a small group at Harrera Perhentian — hence be assured that you’ll get the needed guidance. Will definitely be coming back again! ❤️ Thanks Cal — you’ve been awesome!!

I've heard that it didn't matter which freediving school you pick because what's important is getting the right instructor.
AndRasa is wonderful - their philosophy and way of teaching emphasize on genuinely feeling and looking within - but getting Howie as my instructor truly made all the difference. He's more than just a great instructor: highly competent, patient, empathetic, passionate, safe...but more importantly he cares about your journey as a freediver, instils confidence in you and pushes you to do better. He's also a truly inspiring individual, reminding you to have the courage to pursue what you love.
Can't say enough good things about AndRasa and Howie!

It was my first open water dive experience and I am happy to have engaged AndRasa. Pre- training materials were provided for us to practise before attending the diving sessions. Howie was the instructor for the 3 die sessions I have attended. He is very patient and detailed in providing instructions on the correct free diving techniques. As I was late for the theory lessons for the 1st day, he stayed replace the session I have missed.

Howie was very patience and attentive towards his students. He tailored his teaching based on the student's level and gave good tips and action plan to better your technique. I thoroughly enjoyed myself despite not being abled to complete my certification. This course is not only about free diving but also about understanding yourself better.

I took survival swim lesson with Calvin and W1 with Howie and I couldn’t have a better experience. Both of them are excellent coaches! They are knowledgeable, patience, super helpful and very encouraging. I’m so glad I booked my free diving experience with them. Thank you so much Andrasa for this experience and making my birthday trip very memorable. I look forward to come back to train with you guys 💙

Thanks Howie and Calvin for our first freediving Level1 at Perhentian Island. You are professional, compassionate and so kind. I cannot believe that I can dive to a depth which exceed my expectation in my first time without fear and feel very comfortable and challenging myself.Thanks a lot to both of you

Andrasa Studio isn't just a place but it's the people and the feeling.
I spent the time here for 4 days. They encouraged me to overcame the fear in my mind. It's my first time to learn how to swim and floating for safty in the sea not just in the pool. Thank you my teacher, Calvin that made me feel safe, relax and calm. For now I'm not do it well but I'll try my best to improve myself. I remember every words that you said I'll not stop to learning more because I have a goal already and I hope someday I can free diving and see both of you under the sea in somewhere. Remember that more than the new experience it's a good and beautiful friendship.

I've never experienced free diving before. I love the way Howie, the instructor, taught us. He was a clam and kind teacher who paid attention to every detail. He also encouraged us to not compete against one another but ourselves. I was very much impressed and enjoy my diving journey at Perhentian islands, Malaysia :)
