About
Perhentian Island has more than 20 dive spots that are suitable for all levels of experience. New divers can have a nice relaxing reef dive while be amazed by the brilliantly colored tropical fish and coral. Experienced divers can enjoy the freedom of spectacular reef diving, adventurous wreck diving and deep dives in an extremely idyllic and laid back setting. We teamed up with our neighbors Panorama Chalet to offer value for money Dive + Room packages which can be found on our website. Please note the accommodation provided is of basic beach-hut style. All standard rooms which are used for Dive + Room Packages are simple, but clean wooden bungalows for two people with fan, mosquito net and a bathroom with cold water showers. Rooms are set on a shady hill with lots of native trees just seconds walk to the beautiful beach. As Pulau Perhentian has no mains power, generators are used to supply power to the chalets which normally runs from 7pm-8am and 12noon-3pm. Panorama has a village feel with the chalets, great restaurant selling local and western meals from 8am-10pm daily, a small shop selling fruits, cold drinks and snacks and of course Panorama Diver. Everything you need is right here!

The course/teaching quality was brilliant and the crew here are so friendly, helpful and fun. It’s a great place to hang out as well, with a super chill atmosphere but then also plenty of people to meet and hang out with if you want to.
The location is stunning, smack bang in the middle of long beach on Perhentian Kecil. Absolute paradise, with great dive and snorkelling sites so close.
It’s also great value, especially when you do a diving course and get dorm accomm and delicious roti breakfast included. Has to be one of the most affordable places in the world to learn.
Can’t recommend enough! I’m so glad I did my PADI here.

We visited as a family of 5 and had the best time ever! All of the divemasters are amazing, all so friendly and chatty. We had Mat Mie for 5 of our dives and we couldn't have asked for a better divemaster! He was so kind with our kids and great at spotting all of the cool things under water. On our 1st dive, we had Sam and he was also amazing! By far, the best dive shop ever!

We heard about Panorama divers and told them we were 4, where 2 had never dived and needed discovery. We were asked to pay deposit, which we did - 100 per person - and was told half would be refundable. From the beginning we did not feel very comfortable with the information we were given. it tended to be last minute. we told them we were at the 2 pm ferry monday, yet on monday night they said they had been waiting for us at lunch time for instructions. Partly because of a late night business concall with US and mainly because we just didnt feel comfortable - we decided to cancel. I wrote i understood about the 50% and whether they prefer to transfer or we collect. they said we could come and collect. however 5 minutes later they wrote that we owed them money - calculated based on if we had taken the boats and dives. but they would waive what we oved but keep full deposit. To me thats very very bad customer service and not anybody i would put my faith in to go underwater.

I made a last minute decision to dive in Bunaken and the divers where I was staying in the Togean Islands had all independently recommended Panorama. So a first hand referral is always the most confidence building for me.
I contacted the owner Sven who was in prompt and helpful contact to explain the logísticas JF confirm the booking. So for me, excellent pre trip communication is usually A good indicator for an excellent experience on the premises. And indeed that was the case !!!
I had a functional room with everything I needed like soft mattress, good shower pressure nice fan and flush toilet. Anything else is just a drill I could easily live without. I had a beach bungalow with a. Balcony close enough to ocean to hear waves at night room was spotlessly clean
The food was quite good- for sure fresh and tasty. Pretty on par with other dive resorts. Was a nice convenience to be able to buy beer and soft drinks.
A nice bonus was a massage service which was terrific by Angel.
The dive organization is professional yet relaxed.
I had three guides all of whom had a keen eye for macro and off in the distance sharks and schools of tuna and trevally. The boat was large and the dive sites relatively close by. The tanks are overfilled to closer to 240 than 200 bar so a couple of dives were in excess of 75 minutes.
The dive sites are very solid. Tons of turtles who are incredibly friendly as they swim within inches of you. Water was warm. Hopefully not too warm to trigger bleaching Cheers to William Ego Asoh and Yobel as guides. Ferman and Nofita handling dining room (and arranging fresh sambal each day for me!!)
And of course making the smooth experience all possible - SVEN who is clearly an involved and hands on owner.
Panorama easily earned a 5 star rating from me and wishing them only the best

Had an amazing time diving with Panorama divers. Followed the PADI open water course, which was an absolute blast during our four day stay. Long (our instructor) was really involved and we definitely recommend asking for him when considering diving with panorama. He was great!

Me and my friend did the OW with them , we also did fun dive and one adventure dive later after the course. The whole experience was awesome.
Panorama divers are professionals all our dives and activities were schedule well in advance. Equipments provided were in good condition.
Jin was our instructor , and is a very good instructor. We couldnt have wished for more.
The other staff is kind , friendly and helpful. We loved it over there.
I would highly recommend this place.

Totally worth it and no regrets for chosing panorama divers to take our open water course!!! 😁😁😁 From 1st till our last day, everyone from Panorama were very friendly, awesome, and the quality of teaching was really good and standards are set high! Special thanks to our awesome and cool instructor Jinn and the Panorama family (Maisie, Addie, Matmin)!!! ❣️ We will surely come back and have more dives with you all! 🥰 We have gained extended family through this course and gained more friends! Excited to be with you all after monsoon! 😁 Stay 👌🏻🤙🏻!!! 😜🤣

The dive sessions conducted by Panorama Diver was well planned and organised. Their equipment were all in good condition. I got Instructor Jinn for my course and though he can be very strict at times, he is also very friendly and taught us very well. All the strictness was definitely necessary for our safety. I would highly recommend Jinn as an instructor because of his knowledge, skills and care for the ocean and ocean life.
Towards the end of my trip, I tried the wreck adventure dive and really loved it too - our guide was Instructor Fariz.

Signed up for the dive and snorkelling package with panorama. Was one of my best experiences, very well coordinated and kind people! Our dive instructor was the absolute best, Farez. He was so patient and clear with his instructions and really made a memorable first dive for us!! Highly recommend him and panorama for diving and all sorts of trips. We will be booking again with them for a full dive certification!

Hi, I am planning to go for fun dives for 7 days at Long Beach, Perhentian. I read that the Dive Center at Panorama, based on the reviews, is excellent. However, as I checked reviews on the rooms, they are just the opposite (very dirty and etc).
I only need very basic room (never mind air conditioned or not), not asking for much but the room must be clean. Are the rooms clean based on your experience? The cleanliness of the room is very important to me.
