The fortress is well conserved and there is an exhibition about how the town was build and about the culture and daily life of its habitants. The entrance is 20 dhm.

My wife and I loved visiting this place. Lots of history and traditional architecture. It reminded us of how ancient people used to love to build quality stuff that lasted and which produced a sense of awe and astonishment. Definitely must see if you are...More

The Kasbah is beautiful to walk through, I love the contrast of the green orange trees and the old stone structure. You also get great views of the medina and the mountains from the tower. The museum is limited but interesting. Definitely a must visit...More

This is the old fort of Chefchauoen, now a (limited) museum. Much more could be made of this spot, but it is interesting. English language captions on exhibits would help. Great views over the city from the tower.

Worth a short visit. The garden is quiet, there are displays of handcrafts. The information looked interesting, but neither my French nor Spanish were good enough to understand it well, and English was absent. Views from the tower are nice.

If you visit Chefchaouen, make sure that you visit this place. Highly recommend it, and the view from there to part of the city is great.

The cost is only 10dh ( not $10 ) so it's very cheap and you can climb the tower for a view. The information displays are not in English ( they may have some English info but we didn't ask ). Something alittle different from...More
