We went past Tizi n Tichka, the pass through the Atlas Mountains from Marrakech near Ouarzazate. The view is better in several places on either side of the pass. There are a couple businesses to stop at while there.

If you like beautiful scenery and winding roads, this is for you. Ther area is completely barren except for the area watered by the river forming a long oasis running through the valley floor

Rock mountain scenarios, plus green areas that suddenly appears, and water presence that you do not expect is an amazing combination that make so unique this environment that you are willing to explore further.

I was not sure how to review the journey from Ouarzazate to Marrakech over the Atlas Mts on Route 9. Tizi n Tichka is at the highest point on the road. I believe that there are good walks nearby but I took a tour bus...More

The actual pass is not so beautifull but it is the whole experience of going over the High Atlas. There are better views and gorges in Morocco, especially the roads. But it is a good trip and from Marrakesh a good way to start the...More

The new parts of the road over this pass deserve a five star rating and the bad parts deserve a one star rating. The view, when it is not raining, snowing, or fogged in, is terrific. There is a LOT of construction going on, so...More

A great road if you like driving in the mountains. They are working on improvement of the road, so'll you'll meet some construction work. But the new road make the driving experience even better.

This is a must for any enthusiast driver, the road is astonishing with long ascent and spectacular curves, sadly it is not in the best condition right now but it is worked on and should be better soon.

Driving through the Atlas Mountains was amazing. The roads are narrow and at times scary! The view make up for it though. Simply stunning. It takes your breath away. Great for photographers.

Main road is wide enough. On the south side there an alternate road (P1506) that is pretty scenic but impressive if you are scared of heights. It goes through Ait Benhaddou that I highly recommend though. Make sure you make... More

Dia duit, Les 2 sites sont incontournables et sont parfaitement faisables dans la même journée. A Ait Benhaddou il y a quelques restaurants typiques qui sont très bien. Have a good trip !
