Completely different market compared to Fes or Marrakech - a lot of traditional handcraft Business - forging, sheet processing, textile processing, date selling, camel milk store, meat and other Shops. All Areas were very dirty and sellers not very friendly

I always thought the markets were exciting, but we must have been there on a slow day. The shops didn't seem to have much of what I was interested in buying. There were meat and vegetable shops for the locals, but other shops were rather...More

Great visit to Rissani. Every tuesday, thursday and sunday it's market day (all day long). Locals selling whatever they have, grow or produce. Chaos! The pleasant kind!

After the souks of Marrakech and Fes the covered souk of Rissani is small - but for real atmosphere of the sheep and goat and cattle market -with all the bargains solely made by local herders, this little market area, walled- in from the main...More
