We went here after a trek of Bokong Falls. The lake was small but it was very peaceful and quiet in this place except for ocassional tourists who play their car radios by the side. There's really no sunset view from Lake Danum because it's surrounded by trees which made me wonder why some reviews say that this is the... More

I went here for the sunset views and had bad luck, it was foggy. I went by van, I almost walked but I am glad I didn't because the road seems fairly busy and not attractive. The 'lake' (pond) is OK but nothing special. I did enjoy it for the chance to talk to a friendly Manila couple so I... More

There's nothing peculiar to this place, The water was low, just the happiness of being there! Just had picture taking for the memories!

we were told by our tour guide that this isnt man made. because.. a lake in the mountains? i find this place so serene, ideal for picnic. would be nice if you could also go for a dip, if it werent for the very cold temperature in Sagada, Be careful though, there's a cow grazing loose around the lake and... You'll only see the reflection of sunset at Lake Danum. There's a separate viewing area if you wanna see the real Sunset. Walking Uphill was really tiring but doable might as well rent a motorcycle or join other group to save a little for van rental if you don't want to get tired or you have weak/achy legs.

We went here on our first day in Sagada. We trekked our way here for two hours back and forth. Upon arriving, the view was definitely worth the feet aches and hunger from all the walking. Im a simple girl and I like simple things. There were cows grazing on grass and the lake was very calm. It is very... More

If Kiltepan is for sunrise, then lake danum is for sunset. Nice place to chill and maybe camp for a night.

Relaxing! While other vacationers & backpackers are enjoying somewhere else, our group was here. No crowds & no noisy party.

Lake Danum is located between Sagada and Besao and a perfect place for picnics and walks as it can be accessed by the road or by the trails. It is also perfect for picnics, so pack a basket and go. But please take your garbage with you.
