All these monasteries in Serbia, a lot of them Unesco World heritage, are interesting and worth a visit. Her a lot of Europe's history took place, religions started flourishing.... This monastery is under reconstruction.

Both the exterior, architecture and the interior of this monastery is stunning. It is worth visiting, even when having short time.

Veliki istorijski značaj za nas Srbe. Prelepo mesto i predlog za mini odmor uz kafu ma obali obližnje reke. / Place of great historical significance for us Serbians. Gorgeous place and I recommend it for a small break with pause on coffee shop nearby.

Easily accessible from nearby town of Trstenik, just 5 km. It is built in 15th century by serbian duchess Milica, the wife of Lazar, who died in the famous battle of Kosovo, 1389. She was burried there in the church. Nuns there are very friendly...More

It was my first visit and there and definitely not the last. Probably a more structured guide will provide more information than we got by asking very polite nuns. By chance we discovered there is the Kneginja Milica's tomb. Such a remarkable historical person.

The place where love resides. Ljubve stan = Ljubostinja. Endowment of Princess Milica, from the 14th century, today a nunnery. Be sure to visit if you're on the road to Krusevac, Vrnjackoj spa or Kopaonik.
