Must see. Beautiful.

Both the exterior, architecture and the interior of this monastery is stunning. It is worth visiting, even when having short time.

Ljubostinja is a Serbian Orthodox monastery near Trstenik, Serbia. Located in the small mountain valley of the Ljubostinja river, the monastery is dedicated to the Holy Virgin. The monastery was built from 1388 to 1405. This monastery is a wonderful expanse. The significance of history is woven into a church building, which feels perfect peace and tranquility. Nice yard, full... More

She was burried there in the church. Nuns there are very friendly and you can buy excelent home made brandy (rakija sljivovica) and honey that they make... More

It was my first visit and there and definitely not the last. Probably a more structured guide will provide more information than we got by asking very polite nuns. By chance we discovered there is the Kneginja Milica's tomb. Such a remarkable historical person.

The place where love resides. Ljubve stan = Ljubostinja. Endowment of Princess Milica, from the 14th century, today a nunnery. Be sure to visit if you're on the road to Krusevac, Vrnjackoj spa or Kopaonik.

My first visit here and the Monastary left me with a sense deep peace and reverence for the history of this country and troubled history of Christian faith. Beautiful if you like these types of places.

I was christened here as a baby and I would go here with my family on Sundays! It's very peaceful and so full of history.
