This is very religious super natural place so if you visit please make sure not to offend . Need small but rough boat ride to the island. Breaking a coconut if you want blessings. Nice surrounding, lot of locals go there to complain about wrong doings by others to the Hindu goddess.

A quaint Buddhist Temple driving from Galle towards Colombo - Seenigama is around 20 Kms. from Galle. A small Temple is also in the sea accessible only by boat. Limited time so was unable to visit the Temple in the sea. I walked around the landside area only. Another time ......

This is one of the best secret places in Galle district Every time when passing this place I used to stop and put a till and getting blessing Very powerful place

This is a small island away from land when you head towards Colombo just after Hikka. Holy land. Goddess "Devol". Very good experience riding on boat. but you can't go when windy season at all. (near dec , april) You can see a small temple asigned for the goddess. You have to be so respectful if you visit it. Lots... More

Seenigama is a famous name among the Hikkaduwa Tourist Attractions.The land on which the Seenigama Temple is located in a small island can be access only by boat, You can see a deep freshwater well in the island. the temple near to main gall-colombo road is full of locals that doing the rituals. you can take a boat ride to small island in the sea. since i visited in a poya day, temple in the middle of the sea is closed and boat ride is only took us near to the island but not landed i was charged... More

This island is attached to the temple that you visit in order to see it. We saw it from land, the beach was nice next to the temple and had lovely sand and a good sunset view. It has an interesting story -- the lore is that if you lose something and suspect that it is stolen and come pray... More

Its on an island, that one need to go by a speed boat...quite and nice place but there are some clothing restrictions before entering the temple, but worth one visit
