Good tacos

The staff is really friendly and there's a good vibe here. The food is good and, for Bocas, the price is right.

We visited Bocas Del Toro in July and upon arriving found out our previous arrangements for surfboard rental arranged by our resort was unacceptable. In a panic I contacted Juan at Mono Loco at almost 10PM via email. Much to my surprise he responded back and sacrificed his own morning surf session to get our group hooked up with all... More

Spend the entire day with Juan David, surfing and learning about Bocas. He took time to teach my wife, explain the waves and cater to her novice needs. Thanks for an amazing trip, highly recommended.

New to surfing. Had a private lesson with Michelle, who is fantastic. Solid coverage of fundamentals in the classroom, then out to some outstanding waves in the warm Bocas water. Michelle is patient and encouraging and has you riding waves before you know it!

Jose was a great instructor and the surf spot was great for beginners! It was really nice to have the classroom component and learn about the basics before taking it to the water.

Myself and 3 other friends had a lesson with Jose which was amazing! He made us all feel comfortable and explained everything in a way we could understand. Definitely worth the money!

Let me break this down for you real quick: If you want a local feel and solid surf instruction, go to Mono Loco. If you're smart you'll ask for Michelle for an even better experience. If you've got more time to read here's some more details: I've always wanted to surf. I live in the mountains so not many waves.... More

Our teacher Michelle explain the theory of surfing well for us beginners. A boat will catch you and drop you off in the sea close to the waves. The waves were close to perfect in size our day and we were able to catch some of them at our first time with a surfing board in water. However, after one... More

Did a couple of surf lessons with José and can absolutly recommend him as a teacher. The theory he gave before the first lesson was easy to unterstand and very helpful out there. I like that he is very clear with his recommendations and they are somewhat easy to follow. Plus while paddeling back and after the lection he has... More
