A lovely peaceful place with lovely gardens & boards with quotations from Gandhi which were quite moving. We walked around the perimeter whilst many Hindu ladies in lovely saris paid there respects.

Amidst this crowded part of Delhi, this is a must see venue for any Indian and Foreigner . This is the cremation ground from where Mahatma Gandhi went to the heavenly abode. The place instills peace and harmony in every soul which visits this place.

The park is nice, you have to take the shoes off for part of it, nut it was clean and inspirational, may quotes from Ghandi were displayed.

Yes just as a Homage to the man without whom India could not have freedom so soon..... I would advise people to go early morning as the place gets pretty hot and when you are there without shoes .... its nasty on the feet....

The place is really surrounded by nice trees and it is so peaceful that you can talk with yourself and feel the ambiance. Nice place to visit for learning life and struggles of Mahatma Gandhi.
