If you want to see the old Delhi charm then this is the place. Enjoy the narrow lanes to have paranthas, chaat etc. the pride of Delhi. Go further ahead to buy books of all types. Try to visit this place on non summer then the enjoyment will be much more as during summers it can sap your energy.

Worth seeing core area of old Delhi. Very crowded and Indian ... be prepared. Bycicle riksha is a good means to get around. Busy markets and some remarkable temples in easy reach by foot - if you do not shy away from extremely crowded, narrow and dirty roads. More busy in evening, but also more life. ..

Why go to a place that is so busy that even pedestrians cannot walk freely, that is so dusty that you start coughing within minutes? I say for all westerners this is must go place to get any sense of the real India. Colourful, new scents and a beautiful liveliness.

No visit to Delhi is complete without at least a few hours in this ancient bazaar. It's a crazy bustling slice of pandemonium. Tuk Tuks, taxis, rickshaws and hordes of pedestrians compete for space while hawkers and merchants of every description compete for customers. Be sure to make some purchases at the colourful spice market. And wander some of the... More

My goodness - what a place!! Extremely busy, people, rickshaws, cyclists everywhere weaving through the little lanes and alleyways. Full of market stalls, fruit and veg selling everything you could possibly imagine - books, clothes, spices, flowers, fish, chicken etc and lots of stalls serving food a typical flea market! Everywhere you look there's a stall crammed into every corner.... More

we hired a cycle rickshaw from the red fort and agreed a price for a tour of this area before we set off. be warned it is quite hectic but a great way to see these streets. ours took us down all the little alleys to see the market stalls. we made it clear we didn't want to stop, they... More

Chandni chowk is main pillar of Delhi. No doubt about more traffic here. You can visit by metro, which is the best option. From food to shopping you can enjoy whole day here. Best shops with best prices. Just love the place .
