Rajpath is a road connecting Rashtrapati Bhavan with India gate. Used for republic day parades. Surrounded by green spaces and government offices in North and South Block.

Famous as Bapu’s samadhi, this place is on the outer ring road and very beautifully maintained! It’s easy to forget that this is actually a samadhi and not a nature walk/ park.

If you come to Delhi, you have to at least drive along Rajpath, either day or night. You get a great sense of scale with the Parliament buildings at one end and India Gate at the other.

If you want to visit the India gate, you can walk through the rajpath to reach there and the best time to do this is in the evenings. You can see the lighting as well as click some pictures in daylight.
