We only accidentally visited this temple as it was close to our hotel. We liked it a lot, there are different entrances which is free except a small donation for baggage. Don´t miss the playground on the left side with life-size animals.

It is a Hindu temple located on Mandir Marg of New Delhi. A Vishnu or Laxminarayan temple, where in the main idol of Vishnu and his consort Laxmi are present. Great place to see, clean and calm in contrast to other places in the city. Glad we came. Bit cheeky the security asking for donation for keeping our phones in a box (compulsory) but I didn't give him anything

Very easy to find and they welcome everyone of all faiths. Beautifully kept and well worth a visit. You have to take your shoes off so if you're visiting and the temperature is anything less that 25 degrees then take some socks as the floor is really cold!!

This was our first Hindu temple, so we were very interested. There were many people making offerings of food and flowers and ringing the bell. We enjoyed looking at the statues of Lakshmi. There is a little park next to the temple which was full of school children who were desperate to take photos of us with them.

Visiting this temple will give one a taste of Northen Hindu temple style and culture which is very different from the south of India. The temple is very very clean. No photos allowed in the temple.

The devout can close their eyes and visit and May God bless them but a lot can be done to make the surrounding more organized and cleaner

There are numerous temples in Delhi and this just one of them. It is probably one of the better ones but nothing special in my opinion.
