Nice site, spent few hours there... I wish the place was more taken care of like the Taj or other places. Kids are writing on the walls and fooling around without any security to stop them. The structure is beautiful and tomb is nice.

Its an amazing place to be in. Beautiful. Cousin to Humayun Tomb somehow. Almost as well kept. With fewer people visiting. Its bang on a very busy road and the approach is not that good. You have to keep left on the main road and take a slip road to enter the monument. You wont be allowed to take left... More

The tomb of Mirza Muqim Abul Mansur Khan (Safdarjang was his title, not his name) has been called ‘the last flicker in the dying lamp of Mughal architecture’. Others, less charitably, have said that the Taj Mahal is the feminine aspect of Mughal tomb architecture, Humayun’s Tomb is its masculine aspect—and Safdarjang’s Tomb is midway between neither. Safdarjang, who was... More

To see the monument and walk around or sit for some time enjoying the open air. This is a heritage site

This is fine Moghul architecture- similar in appearance and style to the much better known and better kept Humayun Tomb but I give it five stars because very few people go here and when I went I had the whole place to myself which, for me, is a wonderful luxury.

I have seen this place go down over the years. Beggers, Piss smell and lovers in the odd corners are more seen than the heritage of this place
