It is the place where beating retreat ceremony held every year on 29th January.It is the most important place during Republic Day celebration. It is near to the Central Secretariat.It is a well maintained neat and clean chowk intersecting North and South Block.

Its a wide crossing from where you can see Raisina Hill, North & South Block and Parliament House. Beating the Retreat Parade happens on 29 Jan every year.

This is a kind of forecourt in front of the parliament and ministerial buildings flanked at either end by fountains. It's very well maintained and a nice place to visit.

I visited this place with my cousin brother's.It is very famous for Republic day parade.The area near the chowk were well maintained.The Parliament House and president house were also near it.So,I recommend this place for a visit.
