This is one of the most beautiful temples I have ever been to! Visited in my way to Mysore from Bangalore.. Would recommend everyone to stop here for darshan 😊🙏

Very nice place to visit. Big temple in the entire state of Karnataka. Well maintained. The temple is a fine example of Indian architecture.

This is an important pilgrim centre on the banks of the Kapila River, famous for the massive Nanjundeshwara Temple. Built in the Dravidian style, it is one of the biggest of its kind in Karnataka. The town takes its name from the temple.

Suggest that you travel from Bengaluru to Mysore and take a bus from Mysore to Nanjangud. Mysore to Nanjangud is about 25 kms approx and takes about 30-40 mins by bus. Plenty of Govt and Pvt buses available, you can board... More
